An interdisciplinary economics course that enlightens those engaged in the pursuit of policy, wholesome education and good governance in the imperatives of profitability-with-social responsibility, rooted in a faith life, advocacy with pedagogy and participatory action research focused on local/community development, oriented not to GDP or GNP growth but also to Gross National Wellbeing (GNW)


To ground policy-makers and implementers in the lives of people particularly our base groups in the rural and urban areas, whose economic sense is important for  self-empowerment.

Who should take up this course? 

Development managers, senior professionals, policy makers who are engaged in the public sector, the corporate or business sector, the Church and affiliated sectors, the academe, Economics professors, as well as regional local and community sectors.
