SHORT TERM COURSES

Set to guarantee the multiplier effect of transformative ideas gleaned from the Institute's experiences, the Short-term Courses (three to five-day mini courses) are offered by ASI to form and train socially-oriented academicians and practitioners of social change processes in the perspectives of total human and social development and in socio-eco-pastoral skills and competencies. 

All courses are open to all who are:
  • involved in socio-pastoral and/or social development work
  • with academic background relevant to the course
  • a good command of written and spoken English
Features:
  • Facilitators are all holders of doctoral and master's degree in their areas of specialization.
  • Courses are conducted in air-conditioned rooms.
  • Sessions are held on regular days from Monday to Saturday.
  • The conduct of the course makes use of several pedagogical approaches that are experientially based, processual, participatory, and contextual.
  • Methodology includes case analyses, field exposures, audio-visuals, games, story-telling and other forms of creative media.

A certificate shall be given to all the participants who successfully complete the course.
